LA DEGUSTATION – A bit of a mixed bag

Another tasting menu and also an option of non-alcoholic pairings. As has become or norm, we usually have one glass of wine with our main course as well. Our juice pairings included carrot, leek, walnut, beetroot, and grape. The only one we weren’t crazy about was the grape. But, overall, the meal was lovely with the one exception below.

I love extra touches like this gold leave crisp.

Chicken, Mushrooms, Caraway

Without a doubt, the least appetizing plate we have had on the entire trip. It was so unpleasant to look at, the idea of tasting it was difficult for both Bob and I. We did give it a try and the texture was simply too weird for me. Bob struggled through, mostly because he was hungry not because he enjoyed it.

Beef, Egg, Onion and Mustard —- ewww!
It didn’t look like much, but it was a perfect end to the meal
Well, there’s almost always an end to the end of dessert!

We enjoyed and appreciated the service and the non-alcoholic pairing. If you are in Prague, give it a try!
